If a customer places the same order as that of a previous invoice, you don't need to recreate the invoice. Just search the historical database and reactive the original invoice.

Adagio Invoices' search function makes this fast and easy.

In the Invoice Search function, select:

"History" as the database you wish to search;

"Customer number" as the field you will be searching;

"Equal to" as the search operation; and

The actual customer number as the search value.

Then click Search. A list of invoices meeting your criteria will appear in the bottom portion of the screen.

Once you've located the original invoice, select View to look at it and verify that it's the right one. If so, just click Restore.

From that point, you can open the invoice as you would any other active invoice, make changes to it if needed, or simply print and issue it.
