Like most other Adagio products, Adagio Checks includes a specification editor that allows you to create and modify specifications for the printing of checks. We call this specification editor the Designer.

The Designer is a powerful, visual tool that allows you to create personalized checks based on the "WYSIWYG" principle, "What You See (on the screen) Is What You Get" (on the printed copy). You can use the same blank check stock for all of your banks and accounts. These forms, with special security features, are available from most office supply stores. Not only does the Designer allow you to specify what information you want included on your checks, it also allows you to decide how you want that information to be presented.

With the Designer, you can:

Add graphics such as your company logo to your checks

Insert lines of any length and width, to add structure and visual appeal

Insert rectangles or ellipses to add visual flavor or draw attention to important amounts

Add color

Use many different fonts

Once you create a specification, you can use it as a starting point to create similar specifications.

To open the Designer, click the Maintain Check Specifications button on the toolbar.

The Designer window is displayed. You can then begin creating your own specification or open an existing specification.

Once the specification is opened, you can modify it in order to personalize the specification for your business.
