If you have a number of vendors to whom you send identical checks monthly, changing only the data and check number with each billing (insurance premiums, rental fees and interest payments for example), you can use Adagio Checks' archive module. You create a batch of original checks for your first billing, then archive that batch before you post it. When it is time to send out these checks again, you:
The archive module provides most of the same options that the Open Batches function provides but it acts only on archived checks. To archive a batch, simply select the batch from the batch list and click the Archive button. Set the options in the Archive Batch window and click OK. You can archive individual checks in the same way. Just select the checks you want to archive from the by selecting the batch that contains the checks and clicking the Edit button. When you are ready to restore the batch to send out the checks again, click the Enter/Edit and Archived Check Batch button on the toolbar. The Archive Batches window is displayed. Select the batch you want to restore, then click the Restore button. Set the restoration options you require, then click OK. |
