The System Check Utility (Chksys.exe in \softrak\system) has a List Versions button. It will list your installed Adagio versions and whether they are current, as well as list Adagio modules that you do not have installed. It downloads the latest Adagio program version list from Softrak’s web site.

Corrects a problem where, in some cases, installing a new Lanpak did not add licenses if you had installed Payables 8.1A (2008.08.21), Inventory 8.1A (2008.08.29), FX 8.1B (2008.07.25) or ODBC 9.0A (2008.07.31). Installing any other Adagio full, upgrade or Service Pack dated after August 2008 also corrected the problem. Existing Lanpaks were not affected.

Corrects a problem where licenses were not available in some cases until the Lanpak was registered and you entered the license number received back from Softrak Systems. Licenses are now available for 60 days before the license number is entered.

Fixed errors encountered with read-only files when installing on a LINUX server.

If the install detects that a Client NFR Lanpak (Not For Resale) has been previously installed it will offer to launch the Lanpak selective uninstall to uninstall the NFR, as full Lanpak licenses and NFR licenses cannot be mixed.

Refer to the Readme help file for details of enhancements and revisions in earlier versions.

To install Adagio Lanpak you need the serial number and install code from the Product Label that came with your CD.

If you are installing an upgrade, you need the serial number and install code that came with your upgrade. A previous version of Adagio Lanpak should already be installed on your computer before installing the upgrade. If a previous version is not already installed, you can still install the upgrade. After entering the upgrade serial number and install code, you will also have to enter the serial number and install code from your previous version.

To install Adagio Lanpak, insert the CD in the drive. If the install program does not start automatically, run ADAGIO.EXE from the root of the CD. Or, if Lanpak was downloaded, run the program file you downloaded. Once the install program is running you can click the View button for detailed instructions.

If Adagio is installed on a network, you must install the Lanpak to the network drive where the Adagio applications are installed.

If you have installed a Client NFR (Not for Resale) version of Adagio Lanpak, you must uninstall it before installing a full product version. Failure to do so will result a message saying you are running a NFR version, even if a full product version of the Lanpak is installed and licensed. If a full product version is already installed use the selective uninstall program to un-install just the NFR version. The selective uninstall found in \softrak\system\lanpak\LanpakSelectiveUninstall.exe.

Client NFR Lanpaks must not be installed if a full product version of Lanpak is already installed or the full Lanpak will expire.
