Adagio Time&Billing New Features

Adagio Time&Billing and TimeKeeper are compatible with Windows Vista.

Files (dockets) may be marked Active/Inactive.

SmartFinder allows you to search your master files by up to five criteria. Select multiple comparisons using "AND", "OR", "AND NOT" and "OR NOT" conjunctions between rules. Use SmartFinder as a simple report writer or export (to Excel) tool.

Data backups made with File | Backup can now be automatically uploaded to Websafe for secure offsite backup.

More user control is available on what information is sent to the general ledger. If Adagio Ledger V9.0A or higher is in use, two lines of transaction description may be sent. Additional information is also available in the general ledger batch to assist in identifying transactions originating in Adagio Checks.

The Specification Designer File | Open dialog has been improved to facilitate the selection of the desired form for editing.

And these improvements were made in earlier versions...

Adagio Time&Billing now supports all the Adagio V8.0 features with the exception of multi-currency.

User Interface of the specification designer has been improved, with new codes added to print out a formatted address.

All the new V8.0A fields added to Adagio Receivables are now visible with Time&Billing

Alerts entered in Receivables will be displayed when the client is referenced in Time&Billing.

You can launch multiple instances of Time&Billing on the same workstation.

Invoices can be e-mailed as well as faxed. Separate e-mail addresses are maintained for the invoice recipient. Invoices can be queued prior to transmission.

A complete billing history is maintained. You can reprint invoices from the billing history and print a report from the contents. This file will reflect all postings that have been made in Adagio Time&Billing since the installation of Version 6.8A.

A complete time and disbursement history is now accessible. This information was being captured from the installation of Version 6.8B. There is now a report that prints its contents, as well as a purge function to clear transactions.

A company profile option enables the automatic printing of posting journals after posting. This makes it easier to save your posting journals and saves processing steps every day.

Adagio TimeKeeper New Features

Adagio TimeKeeper can now export timesheet and disbursement information to Excel using the ExcelDirect button.

Users are warned if time is allocated to an Inactive File (docket).

A new option "Show only active timers" displays only the active timer on the desktop when TimeKeeper is not the active window. Another new option "Edit timer when first clicked" reminds you to enter a description for the timer when it is activated.

"Refresh Remote" supports laptops with only TimeKeeper installed. "Remote Submit" can now optionally refresh the button list from the LAN.

Using alt-drag to move time from one task to another now supports entry of the time to move in minutes, rather than hours. Fewer data entry errors result.

And these improvements were made in earlier versions...

Adagio TimeKeeper can now be run remotely on a laptop. Running TimeKeeper on a laptop allows each consultant to automatically capture their time as it is worked, using the computer's clock to record the duration of each task. Standard phrases and dictionary codes speed data entry. Time is submitted when the laptop is re-connected to the local area network hosting the Time&Billing data. Submitted time is automatically entered into a batch so that it may be reviewed prior to posting.

You can re-arrange the TimeKeeper buttons by dragging and dropping them into a different order. Keep your most frequent tasks at the top of the list.

Multiple TimeKeeper timers can now be running concurrently. Track the time on two separate projects at the same time.

Automatically transfer time from one timer to another, just by Alt-dragging the timer button. Now it's easy to correct a mis-started timer.

Find out the last timer active, just by hovering the cursor over the TimeKeeper New Timer button. See your total time being submitted on the Submit time dialog.
