The Adagio GridView Server module harnesses the high-speed disk and large memory capacity of the server to greatly speed up GridView inquiries into large databases. With GridView Server software, the server, containing the accounting data, processes the GridView Filters, so that only the resulting record set, not the full database, is transmitted over the local area network.

In addition to reducing network traffic, GridView Server allows the server computer to cache much of the accounting data, dramatically improving inquiry performance where indexes are not available. Typical performance improvements of over 400% are possible, allowing GridView inquiries to be processed in real time during a phone conversation.

GridView Server supports Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Microsoft Servers. Like all Adagio modules, Adagio GridView Server requires a Lanpak unit for each simultaneous use after the first one.
