• Anti-Alteration of Payee and Amounts  The heating element in the laser chemically bonds the laser toner to the paper so that any attempt to change the laser-printed characters on the check rips away the actual "Toner Grip Check Stock" paper fibers, making the alteration to the security background patterns much more obvious.
  
• Anti-Photocopying (Rainbow Background)  The two color background is very difficult to photocopy.
  
• Anti-Photocopying (Micro-Printed Border)  The line around the border of the check is actually "Wellspring Software" printed in very small type and is too small to be photocopied.
  
• Anti-Photocopying (True Watermark)  The watermark on the back of check cannot be photocopied.
  
• Anti-Unauthorized Endorsement  On the back of the check, there's an area for endorsement information as well as security feature warnings.
